Schaghticoke is a village in Rensselaer County, New York in the United States. In the 2010 census, the village had 592 inhabitants.

The Village of Schaghticoke is located in the Town of Schaghticoke, near the eastern boundary of the Town, but west of the Village of Valley Falls.

History

The Village, which formerly bore the name of Hart's Falls and was incorporated under that name in 1867, was re-founded in 1881 under the present name.
