Schillerstraße

The Schiller Street was a TV show that had the "Improvisation Comedy" ( impromptu comedy, improvisation theater) prescribed. It was recorded without a script before an audience, but the performers were given by cue cues for their tasks.

Concept and content

The scene is a living room in the fictional Schiller Street # 9 in Cologne, where the tenant Jürgen Vogel (since the beginning of 2009, up to and including Season 4, which ended in the spring of 2007, Cordula Stratmann played the tenant ) gets a visit from friends and relatives. The participants, who play with a few exceptions under her real name, in advance only know the theme of the episode, the entire act must be improvised comedic possible. About a receiver in the ear they get additional stage directions by the GM, they need to incorporate into the action, for example, " Jürgen: The smallest little thing makes you cry ," while the game master is displayed in an antique picture frame below. Sent is largely uncut, even margins are not removed.

The format was developed by Maike Tatzig, who is also the executive producer of the show. She took over in September 2005, the task of the game of conductor Georg Uecker. Production company is the Hurricane TV Produktion GmbH.

Development

Schiller road ran from 3 September 2004 in the German TV channel Sat.1.

Cordula Stratmann played the tenant, while Georg Uecker took over the role of being the leader. The only original half-hour episodes in the later evening program had such a great success that in January 2005, extended with the second season, the sending time for an hour and broadcast in the main rail at 20:15 clock ( every Thursday ) was preferred.

On 26 January 2007, the Schiller Street on the new, free daily transmission place celebrated the 100th episode with a 90-minute special issue was in the look back on the past 99 episodes.

In the fall of 2005, took over producer Maike Tatzig from the episode 46, the game master role by Georg Uecker, according to official figures due to scheduling difficulties Uecker. Rumour has, however, internal discontent over Uecker's public image should have at least had its share. This would also explain why in the above-mentioned anniversary episode with all the cutouts Uecker removed partially uses different camera angles for the flashbacks and even instructions of the game master Uecker were replaced by new extra- synchronized by Tatzig.

On 20 April 2006, the stage area was doubled. Thus, the mission also could sense take place without Cordula Stratmann, which for some of the consequences in the form of a " slimming " exposed due to a maternity leave, was set up next to the apartment by Cordula Stratmann the pub Schillereck as Handlungsort. "Owner" is Cordula's friend Bernhard Hoëcker. The stages were each other at right angles. In order both to be able to manage in a program without modification, a revolving auditorium was constructed.

Cordula Stratmann announced after the summer break in 2007, which began at the request of the producers in April, no longer wanting to participate in the format. As of November 26, 2010 showed Sat.1 the seventh season ( six episodes ) of Schiller Street on Friday evening. Since the fifth season Jürgen Vogel was in place by Cordula Stratmann new main tenant of the Schiller Street. Since January 2009 the show in widescreen 16:9 aired.

Due worse odds expired at the end of February 2011 for the time being last issue of Schiller Street. At the moment no further consequences of the improv show are planned.
