Schinder (mountain)

Schinder and Schinderkar seen from Auerspitz (Northeast )

The martinet is a striking mountain with rocky north side, one of the Tegernsee Mountains in Mangfallgebirge and the ridge height is the boundary between Bavaria and Tyrol. Main peak is 1808 m high Austrian Flayer (also called Trausnitzberg ), from whose summit cross a panorama from the Kaiser mountains in the east over the Grossglockner, GROßVENEDIGER and Zillertal Alps in the south results to the Zugspitze in the West.

The Flayer can be achieved not difficult on a good mountain climbing from the Valepp on the Trausnitzalm and the southern ridge in 2.5 hours.

Alternatively, you can choose to knacker the challenging route over the Schinderkar, the Schindertor and shutters; However, this requires sure-footedness and freedom, as exposed rock and scree passages to be overcome. Until late in the year may remain lying snowfields in Schinderkar.

The neighboring Bavarian Flayer is a 1796 m high side peak, which is located entirely within Bavaria and can be mounted on the exposed Connection Ridge in around 30 minutes from the main summit.

The two remaining platforms for Flayer (from Bayr -Alm on the Rieselbergalm and Ritzelbergalm or by the Archduke Johann -Klause on the south side) are indeed marked, but very lonely and are hardly committed.
