Schlossbergbahn (Freiburg)

The Schlossbergbahn is an automated inclined lift, which transports in Freiburg im Breisgau up to 25 passengers from the city garden on the Schlossberg. The car climbs 73 meters height with a maximum slope of 22 °. The track width is 1.2 meters, the speed is 1.5 meters per second, so the train takes about three minutes for the 262 -meter course. The web is the successor of the discontinued business reasons Schlossberg funicular.

The funicular is officially since 19 July 2008 and leads from the town to the castle garden Dattler. From the top station is approximately a 15 minute walk to the Schlossberg Tower.
