Schmalhorn

The narrow horn is a 1,952 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. The inconspicuous mountain is located in the Himmelschrofenzug between the rear Wildgundkopf and the saddle zone of Einödberges. On narrow horn the boundary of the transition runs from the main dolomite in the north to the softer spot marls in the south. The Vertical separation of the narrow horn is at least 52 meters, his dominance at 600 meters, where in each case the Rear Wildgundkopf Reference mountain is.

Ascent

On the narrow horn leads no marked path. However, it can be reached from Einödberg not difficult. The way on north to the rear Wildgundkopf is pathless and requires mountaineering experience.
