The fully wooded summit is easily accessible and is not itself a worthwhile destination dar. Below the summit is 1100 meters above sea level, however, in the Grab church. This is along one of the routes to climb Hochgern and is accessible as an easy hike of Marquartstein in about 90 minutes. From there, there is a good view to the north on Grassau and the Chiemsee in clear weather.

The ascent from the timber yard storage in roof requires in damp weather in some places slip resistance and has not been maintained in recent years. This route takes about 70 minutes.

Grab church

The church was built in the years 1637-1639 according to the plans of Traunstein city architect Wolfgang König contains a painted from Munich court painter Kasper Amort in 1644 altarpiece as a landmark. This shows the patron of the church, Wolfgang of Regensburg.
