Schott's Almanac

Bulkhead smorgasbord (British original and U.S. edition: Schott 's Almanac ) is an annual publication of the book author Ben Schott.

Editions are published in England, the USA and Germany by Bloomsbury Publishing, each edition has a different structure and a different content.

Bulkhead hodgepodge gathered in 13 sections of media & people about music and film, to sport the most curious facts of the year. Bulkhead smorgasbord does not win its entertainment and information value as a traditional encyclopedia or an almanac ( the English original is, Schott 's Almanac ) from its apparent completeness, but from Ben Schott weighting and selection of useless facts, lists and oddities. Since the original English in 2002 ( Germany 2004) several thematic successor volumes have been published. Bulkhead smorgasbord food and drink, bulkhead hodgepodge sports, games & idleness and Schott's Almanac 2007 Every year in November, the actual Schott's smorgasbord appears for the following year.
