Schuyler Enck

Schuyler Colfax "Sky" Enck ( born January 25, 1900 in Columbia, Pennsylvania, † November 1, 1970 in Harrisburg ( Pennsylvania)) was an American athlete who was successful in the early 1920s as a middle-distance runner. The 1.78 m wide and 73 -kg athlete competed for the Penn State Nitttany Lions.

Achievements

  • Bronze at the Olympic Games in Paris over 800 m in 1:53,0 min behind the British Douglas Lowe ( gold in 1:52,4 min) and the Swiss Paul Martin ( silver in 1:52,5 min).
  • Winning the IC4A Championship in Cambridge over 1 mile in 4:23,8 min

His best performance over 800 m with 1:52,5 min, run on 7 June 1924 specified.
