The municipality comprises the cadastral Brunnhöf, United Reichenbach, Kleinwolfgers, Limbach, Mannshalm, Meinhart shock, Perndorf, clean Bolden, Sallingstadt, Schwarzenbach, Schweiggers, Sieben Linden, Streitbach, Unterwindhag, quadruplet, Walterschlag and Windhof.

Between Mödershöf and Schweiggers springs the German Thaya, one of two source rivers Thaya.

Geology

History

The name is derived from the Old High German Schweiggers name Swidger and immersed in documents for the first time at 1182 " Swichers " on. The name has changed over the centuries until it appearing in 1643 as " Schweiggers ".

1394 received the community market rights and thus has a large market square in the town center.

In 1966, the municipality was Schweiggers with communities Mannshalm ( with the cadastral Mannshalm, armed Schwarzenbach and Meinhart shock) and Perndorf merged ( with the KGs Perndorf, Kleinwolfgers and Unterwindhag ).

In 1971, the second merger with the communities Sallingstadt ( KG Sallingstadt and Walterschlag ) and Limbach ( KG Limbach and Windhof ) and Sieben Linden ( KG Sieben Linden, quadruplet, Brunnhöf, Bichlhof, United Reichenbach and clean Bolden ).
