Bach Schwinde the memory lane

The Revel is an approximately 770 m long river in the district of Brilon Thülen, which ends in a Ponor in Brilon Massenkalk.

The stream springs from the north Bruchhaus road at the southern end of Thülen and then meanders through meadows and fields, until he finally located in a valley ( " Schwalchloch " ) opens and there disappears. Probably the water of the springs down memory lane back to the sources of the Alme.

The phenomenon of Bach shrinkage occurs in the Brilon plateau in several places.
