The Schwingbach is with a length of 10.9 km and a catchment area of 25 km ², the largest left-side tributary of the Klee Bach in Hesse.

The oscillating stream rises in the Taunus region south west of the village Vollnkirchen near the Napoleon Stocks. It flows through the series after the places Volpertshausen, Weidenhausen, Kleinrechtenbach and Hörnsheim, where it flows into the Kleebach.

He was named to the 1971 existing and 1977 of the same community, which consisted of full churches, Weidenhausen, Kleinrechtenbach and large law Bach and 1977 integrated into the greater community of mountain hut. Also named after him is the built in 1971 Secondary School Schwingbach in large law Bach, which replaced as Mittelpunktschule the older schools of the individual Ortrteile.

2007 and 2009 occurred in the lower Schwingbach to a fish dying from not explainable causes.
