Sciron

Skiron (Greek Σκίρων ) is a figure in Greek mythology.

He was a bandit who lay in wait at the border of Attica and Megara innocent hikers, they pillaged and forced to wash his feet. He pushed her down into the sea, where a huge turtle devoured the bodies. The young Theseus defeated him and killed him in the same way. However, both the earth and the sea refused to give him a grave and threw him instead to each other back and forth until his remains eventually fossilized ( Ovid 's Metamorphoses, Book VII). The umbrausten of violent storms Skironischen rocks at Megara should be named after him.
