The Scopi is 3,189, 9 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Adula Alps, just east of the Lukmanier pass. The border between the Canton Ticino and Canton Graubünden runs from the pass on the west ridge of Scopi and further from the summit over the main ridge to the south. The Grisons part belongs to municipality Medel ( Lucmagn ), the Ticino part for Commune Blenio. To the west lies the Val Medel with the Lai da Sontga Maria, east of the Val Casatscha. On the north- south running ridge rises north of Piz Kitty, Pizzo del Corvo the south.

At the summit is a military radar station that is accessed by a cable car that can not be used publicly. For construction of the facilities of the original nine meters higher summit was leveled. But the summit plateau is not restricted, but normally available for alpinists.

In 1782 had the Benedictine Father Placidus a Spescha from Lukmanierpass, where he worked as a pastor, first climbed the mountain.
