Scott Allen

Ethan Scott " Scotty" Allen ( born February 8, 1949 in Newark, New Jersey ) is an American former figure skater, who started in a single run.

Allen started for the Skating Club of New York. 1964 and 1966 he was U.S. champion. From 1962 to 1968 he participated in all World Championships and placed, with the exception of his first World Championship, where he finished eighth, always in the top five. In 1965 he became Vice World Champion behind Alain Calmat. At the Olympic Games in 1964 he won the bronze medal, two days before his 15th birthday, which made him the youngest medalist at the Olympics. To date, he is the youngest male medalist and the youngest individual athletes featured on the list.

After his athletic career, he studied at Harvard University.
