Scott Baio

Scott Baio ( born September 22, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actor.

Biography

Baios ancestors were Italian immigrants. His brother Steven Baio is also active as an actor and as a producer and screenwriter. His cousin Jimmy and Joey Baio worked as an actor. Baio attended Xaverian High School in New York and graduated from North Hollywood High School. At the age of nine he got his first job as an actor in commercials. In 1976 he was occupied less than 2000 applicants in the title role of Alan Parker Bugsy Malone comedy. There he played alongside Jodie Foster, with whom he played in the 1980 teen drama Jeanie's clique.

In 1974 he took over the role of Chachi Arcola, a cousin of the main character Fonzie, in the sitcom Happy Days. This role was in 1982 with the series Joanie Loves Chachi own offshoot, but was deposed by ABC after 17 episodes again. In the same year he played the lead role in the movie parody Zapped! - Which was a financial failure and fell by the critics - and played a music album for RCA one.

From 1984 to 1990 he starred in the title role of the sitcom Charles in Charge, in which he played a 19 -year-old babysitter in New Jersey. After that, his career was somewhat and he joined in the 1990s and 2000s, especially by roles in television films by guest appearances in television series and commercials in appearance. Since 2012 he plays a main role of David Hobbs, a TV star who goes home and takes care of his family, and is also an executive producer of the sitcom Dad Run Lake.
