Scott Fitzgerald (singer)
Scott Fitzgerald ( born April 28, 1948 in Glasgow, Scotland; actually William McPhail ) is a British singer, who in 1988 represented the UK at the Euro Vision Song Contest, while only narrowly missed the win.
Career
Scott Fitzgerald was born in 1948 in Scotland William McPhail. He was a friend in his youth with a Jesuit priest, and went in the 1970s with Mike Connaris, Alan Swinden and Stefan Oprych on tour, the record label Music Mcasso founded in 1979. In 1974 he released the pop song Judy Played the jukebox (GTO Records).
For the first time made Fitzgerald in the late 1970s as a singer attention. He took 1977 together with the Dutch singer Yvonne Keeley If I Had Words duet on a variation of Camille Saint- Saëns ' Symphony No. 3, lined with reggae beats. Scott Fitzgerald is the father of Kiley "Ki" McPhail (also Kiley Fitzgerald ), former member of the British band Busted.
