Scott Frank

Scott Frank ( born March 10, 1960 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida) is an American screenwriter and director.

Life

Frank came in the late 1980s for the first time as a screenwriter in appearance, as he wrote the script for an episode of the television series The Wonder Years. That same year, was based on one of his screenplays of feature film Plainclothes - murder in high school.

For the screenplay for Out of Sight (1998) Frank was nominated for an Oscar. 1998 he received for a Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Screenplay. In addition, Frank was awarded for this film with a NSFC Award, won an Edgar Allan Poe Award and received a WGA Award.

His screenplay for Minority Report (2002) brought him the honor one with a Saturn Award for Best Screenplay.

In 2001 he joined so far it unique as a producer in appearance and participated in the drama film The Caveman 's Valentine.

With the thriller The Lookout Frank 2007 saw his debut as a director. For this work, an award followed at the Independent Spirit Awards 2008. 2011 Frank staged an episode of the TV series Shameless.
