Scott McBain

Scott McBain ( born June 1960 in Stirling, Scotland) is the pseudonym of a Scottish author who has written several successful novels. Scott McBain has until 1969 lived in Girvan, a town on the west coast of Scotland, and moved to the divorce of his parents to England, where he also received his education.

He completed a degree in law in Cambridge Peterhouse until graduation and again for another four years as a "post- graduate level " student from 1978 to 1982. In the years 1986 to 1987, he was awarded a scholarship from the Fulbright Commission and studied at Harvard University in 1986 until 1987.

McBain is described in the various sources of traveling, he is said to have visited among other things Albania, Mongolia and North Korea.
