Scream (Heide-Park)

The Drop Tower Scream at Heide -Park Soltau is with a height of 103 m to the top of the tallest " gyro drop tower " in the world. The cable has a diameter of nine meters and can accommodate 40 people, which are secured while driving with hydraulically locking shoulder straps with additional straps between the legs.

Scream was created by converting a gyro Towers, built in 1992 of the observation tower II of Heide Park, which was carried out by the company Intamin, between October 2002 and April 2003 at a cost of 7.5 million euros. The inauguration took place on 24 April 2003.

Ride

Technical

The gondola is empty 22.5 tons in weight, fully occupied approximately 25 tons and is equipped with an audio system, however, is used only for emergencies.

The tower has a diameter of 2.8 meters and stands on a base of 8 m depth and 10 m in diameter, which extends 2 m from the ground.
