Scrubs (clothing)

A tunic (also Kasak ) is a garment that is primarily worn by staff in nursing and the medical field. The word comes from the French Kasack casaque and originally describes a three-quarter length ladies blouse. Tunics are available in various designs. The conventional form is a closed short-sleeved shirt with a cut over V-neck, usually with a breast pocket and two side pockets at approximately waist height, like a smock. Also, there are open Tunic, sleeveless, semi or ganzärmelig that turn like a doctor coat longer. Tunics are usually provided by the employer and cleaned after each service. For this reason, the tunic is made easy and can just be worn turned inside out.

The color of the uniforms of staff of a hospital, and consequently also of the tunics, may differ to clinic depending on the application and clinic.
