Seabound
Seabound is an electric / Future pop band from Bielefeld.
Seabound was founded in 1995 by Frank and Martin Spinath Vorbrodt. Both were previously active musically. Vorbrodt was in the 1980s in a punk band and moved in the 1990s to electronic music. Since 1990 Spinath working on various electronic projects.
Live they are supported by Daniel Wehmeier (drums). Seabound had live performances among other things, on the Mera Luna Festival 2002, the Wave -Gotik-Treffen 2007, and the Amphi Festival in 2012.
Music
The music of Seabound moves mainly in the field of electric, but also takes many elements from the pop music, dance and break beat on.
The content of the music sets focus with insights into the human psyche and its manifold faults apart, but also issues such as the desire for fulfillment. The singer and psychology professor Frank Spinath suppressed issues of concern to him professionally from artistic and creates an emotional connection to this.
Spinath puts the idea of this project since 2005 in parallel with the stylistically similar project Edge of Dawn continued.
