Seachtain na Gaeilge

Seachtain na Gaeilge ( SNAG, dt "Week of the Irish " ) is a nonprofit organization with the goal to promote the Irish language. But they held annually in March, a two -week festival.

Was first organized this event from Conradh na Gaeilge in 1903., The snag is financed today by Foras na Gaeilge.

The festival program ranges from music and art to the speed dating. An average of over 150,000 people with different language level of the Irish are taking part, especially students and many young people.

The motto is: " Croí na Teanga - It's You! " (Eng. " The heart of the language - You Are! " )
