Sead Kapetanović

Sead Kapetanović ( born January 21, 1972 in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Bosnian Herzegovinian footballer.

Career

Kapetanović began his career at FK Željezničar Sarajevo and came in the early nineties to Germany. Here he joined first Viktoria Aschaffenburg (1992/ 93), a year later, he signed a contract with the Oberliga Hessen- SV Wiesbaden.

For the season 1994/95 he moved to FSV Frankfurt and thus in the 2nd Bundesliga. Kapetanović immediately became a regular player, but could not prevent Frankfurt was knocked off last ascent and descent. The Bosnians went to VfL Wolfsburg and thus remained in the second division. Even with the " wolves " he came to regular assignments, though frequently as a "wild ", and celebrated in 1997 under coach Willi Reimann promotion to the Bundesliga. After four years he left the club at VfL Borussia Dortmund direction.

BVB he was not able to prevail and went to two and a half years in Dortmund, in January 2002, returned to his homeland. There he was two seasons for FK Sarajevo active.
