Sead Mehić
Sead Mehić ( born April 8, 1975 in Bijeljina ) is a former Bosnian football player.
Career
Sead Mehić played in childhood in Yugoslavia, Partizan Belgrade, before moving to Germany. There he played at various small clubs in Hessen (VfB Friedberg, Germania Ockstadt ) and came across the KSV Klein-Karben finally to Eintracht Frankfurt. When he played Eintracht 1997/98 for the first time in professional football and came on as a substitute to 16 missions in the 2nd Bundesliga.
The following year he went to the Lower Saxon second division relegated SV Meppen and from 1999 he played five years for the SV contractions in the Regionalliga. The offensive player ran 151 times on the Wehen and had 2002/ 03 his most successful season when he was top scorer of the storm trio of Hesse with 13 goals.
The following year, Mehić played a league low at the 1 FC Eschborn and rose with the club on a master of Hessen League 2005. In the season 2005/ 06 he was active for the third division Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, but could not hold the class.
Thus, the Bosnians in 2006 returned to Frankfurt, where this time he joined the FSV Frankfurt. The FSV he succeeded in the next two years of the walkover of the Hessen League in the 2nd Bundesliga, where in 25 games he had in particular in the season 2007 /08 despite a late start to the season because of a calf broken leg before the start of the season with eight goals percentage. Mehić prolonged after promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga his contract with the people of Frankfurt for a year.
On 16 May 2010 Mehić signed a two -year contract with Kickers Offenbach, but missed with the Kickers in the following two years each the targeted promotion to the First Division. In the 2012/13 season was Mehić age of 37 the oldest outfield player in Germany's professional leagues. After he finished his playing career.
In September 2013 he became coach at Offenbacher Association division SSV Lindheim.
