Seán MacSwiney

Seán MacSwiney (Irish Seán Mac Suibhne ) was an Irish Sinn Féin politician.

He was in 1921 elected for Sinn Féin in the second Dáil Éireann and belonged to him from August 1921 to June 1922 on. Like his sister Mary, who also sat in the Dáil, he scored there to the opponents of the Anglo -Irish Treaty. In the elections of 1922 to the 3rd Dáil Éireann he could not defend his position.

The 1920 died following a hunger strike Lord Mayor of Cork, Terence MacSwiney, was his brother.
