Seat Fura

The Seat Fura is a small five-door hatchback and three, which was built from 1982 as a further development of the Seat 127.

Following the acquisition of Seat by the Volkswagen Group, there appeared no longer appropriate to emphasize the former binding to Fiat too much. Therefore, the model was renamed and from 1982 with a new front and rear fascias. In addition to the two engine variants of the predecessor (903 cc / 47 hp / 34.5 kW to 1010 cc / 52 PS / 38 kW) was offered now the engine of the Seat in 1430 with 1438 cc and 75 hp / 55 kW. Under the name El Nasr Super Fura in the car at NASCO in Cairo (Egypt ) was also mounted.

In 1985, the production of the Seat Fura has been set. Together with its predecessor, it was the most successful model ( over 1.3 million copies ) of the Spanish car manufacturer. His successor is launched in the summer of 1984 Seat Ibiza.
