Seat Ronda (1983-1986)

The Seat Ronda of the Spanish car manufacturer Seat is a five-door station wagon in the compact class, which was brought out from the summer of 1983 with design changes, and revised engines as the successor of the Seat Ritmo.

The stylistic revisions were carried out by Italian designer Carrozzeria Fissore. In Germany, the program initially consisted of the following models:

  • Seat Ronda 1.2 with 1188 cc and 47 kW (64 hp), maximum speed 145 km / h
  • Seat Ronda 1.5 with 1577 cc and 68 kW ( 92.5 hp), maximum speed 170 km / h
  • Seat Ronda 1.7 D with 1714 cc and 41 kW (56 hp), maximum speed 140 km / h

In autumn 1984, the Seat of Porsche could design a new range of engines. Therefore, the new models also wore the P ( for Porsche) in the type designation:

  • Seat Ronda P 1.2 with 1193 cc and 46 kW (63 hp), maximum speed 148 km / h
  • Seat Ronda P 1.5 with 1461 cc and 62.5 kW ( 85 hp ), maximum speed 166 km / h
  • Seat Ronda P 2.0 with 1995 cc and 88 kW (120 hp), maximum speed 190 km / h

In the spring of 1985, based on the notchback sedan Ronda Malaga appeared.

The end of 1986 the production of the Seat Ronda has been set. Successor was not until 1999 that the Seat Leon based on the VW Golf.
