Sebastian Schwager

Sebastian Schwager ( born January 4, 1984 in Ansbach ) is a retired German racing cyclist.

In 2002, Sebastian Schwager first drew attention to himself, as he celebrated great successes in the junior class. He won two stages and the overall classification of the Bundesliga Cottbus stage race and one stage of the Trofeo Karlberg, where he also took second place overall.

Brother in law was in 2005 German U23 champion. In 2006 he drove for the Thüringer Energie Team, for which he won the Main Franken tour for young drivers for a stage win and a second stage space.

For the 2007 season, he joined the Italian ProTour team Milram, where he signed a standard for Neuprofis two-year contract. In 2008 he took part in the Vuelta a España and reached two top 20 finishes. After the contract was not renewed in 2009, he finished his career.

End of March 2009, he started at the Ansbach University Bachelor's program in International Management, a course of study that has been adapted to the HS Ansbach and designed for top athletes.
