Sebastian Seifert

Sebastian Seifert ( born December 12, 1978 in Ystad ) is a former Swedish handball player. Its body length is 1.90 m.

Seifert, who played for the Swedish club Ystad IF HF and ran aground on the Swedish national team, was mostly used on the rear center of the room.

Sebastian Seifert began at IFK Ystad, was accrued for his father before him Roy, with the handball game. For Ystad, he debuted in the first Swedish League. In 2000 he joined the Danish top club KIF Kolding, where he won the 2001 and 2002 Danish Cup and the 2002 Danish Cup. In the 2002/2003 season he played for TuS Nettelstedt - Luebbecke, but returned after just one season back to Kolding. There he won in 2005, 2006 and 2009, three additional championships as well as 2005 and 2007 two more trophies. In the summer of 2009 he moved to Ystad IF. In March 2013 he had to end his career due to injury. Since summer 2013 he has worked as an assistant coach at Ystad IF.

Sebastian Seifert has played 103 international matches for the Swedish national team. However, for the Handball World Championship for Men in Germany in 2007, he could not qualify with Sweden.

Seifert has German ancestors. His grandparents are from Berlin and in 1950 emigrated to Sweden.
