Sébastien Fournier

Sébastien Fournier (* June 27, 1971 in Nendaz ) is a former Swiss football player, today he is a football coach.

Career as a player

He began his career at FC Sion Fournier, with whom he 1991, 1995, 1996 won the Swiss Cup. In 1996 he moved for one year to VfB Stuttgart. He then moved back to Switzerland Servette Geneva. With Servette 1999 he became Swiss champion and cup winner in 2001. In 2003, he finished his career.

Internationally

For the Swiss national football team, he played 40 games, and took her part in the 1994 World Cup and Euro 1996.

Career as a coach

After end of his career as a player, he began his coaching career at the Swiss Club team -Genève -Servette - Carouge M21. On 4 June 2012, the club management of the FC Sion announced that Fournier now the new head coach of the Swiss first division is. Beginning of September 2012 came Fournier resigned from his post, the association was retained as a youth coach.
