Sébastien Hamel

Sébastien Hamel ( born November 20, 1975 in Arpajon ) is a former French football goalkeeper. Since his playing career end, he is active as a beach soccer player.

Career

Hamels professional career began in 1993 with AS Monaco (no match ). There, however, they took him only a year and he joined the following season for Le Havre AC. However, he was never able to properly enforce and completed in five and a half years only 65 games. Until December 2000 he was in Le Havre under contract. In January 2001 he signed at RC Lens (no match ), but remained only until the end of the season before he joined FC Lorient in the summer of 2002, where he played fifteen games. A year later he was abgeworden from AJ Auxerre and remained the club for four years to receive, but never got beyond the reserve player and only ran three times for the club. However, it did with AJA 2003 and 2005 to celebrate winning the Coupe de France. In July 2006 he decided to re- change, and signed with Olympique Marseille, where he, like so often takes the place as number 2 in his career. After two years without the use of time Hamel will change in the 2008 /09 season for Toulouse FC. In Toulouse, the only just missed relegation in the previous year, the goalkeeper hoped for more opportunities. However, it managed Hamel not get past Cédric Carrasso so that it came in the first year at Toulouse under no obligation stake. In the summer of 2009, he finished his career in professional football.

Beach Soccer

After career as a goalkeeper in Ligue 1 was Hamel Beach Soccer Goalkeeper, where he was nominated by coach Eric Cantona for the French national team. This Hamel has already participated in several international tournaments.
