Securitas

Securitas is in Roman mythology the imperial period the personification of the safety of the Roman people.

In literature and inscriptions it is only slightly occupied and mainly appears on coins, often with the attributes of staff, spear, cornucopia, palm branch and patera. When seated figure they mostly supported on the head with the arm as standing figure depicted mostly leaning against a pillar. Often, it also keeps the sun or a (natural ) ball in his hand.
