Sędławki

Sędławki ( sen'dłafki ) ( German: Sand paint ) is a village in the north of the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and is part of the Gmina Bartoszyce ( Bartenstein rural community in East Prussia ) in a circle and thus Bartoszyce 15 kilometers from the border with the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast away.

Geography

The village Sędławki, about three kilometers southwest of Bartoszyce. The place for leading municipal road branches off about a kilometer north of the village of the Province Road No. 592 Bartoszyce - Kętrzyn from. Only moments from Sędławki is the Kinkeimer lake.

History

Sand paint belonged until 1945 to the district Bartenstein ( Ostpr. ) from 1975 to 1998 Olsztyn Voivodeship ( Olsztyn ) and today the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

Good sand paint

On Good sand paint (Polish Dwór w Sędławkach ) a classical manor is preserved next to the park, which dates from the second half of the 19th century and was restored in 2000. First owners were the family Puttlich, later the family Jahn. There were other farm buildings, the estate consisted of about 300 ha
