Seeberg head of the East

The Seeberg head is a 1538 meter high mountain in Bavarian Zell im Mangfallgebirge. It is an easy hike through mountain trails and walkways from the village of Bayrischzell on the located on 1232 m Neuhüttenalm ( 800 m) - the oldest existing Leitzachtaler Alm, a log house from the year 1678 - and the Seebergalm to reach ( 1360 m). Striking feature is a large landslide on its north side. The name comes from a head Seeberg near the summit ( Seeberg cutting direction ) previously existing lake whose outlines are still visible today.
