Seiji Aochi

Seiji Aochi (Japanese青 地 清 二, Aochi Seiji, born June 21, 1942 in Otaru, † August 14 2008 in Sapporo ) was a Japanese ski jumper.

Seiji Aochi studied at Meiji University and then worked for Yukijirushi Nyūgyō (Snow Brand Milk Products). Aochi took for the first time at the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble part. With 90.5 and 87.5 meters, he finished the jump on the large hill Rank 26 His biggest success of the Japanese at the Olympic Winter Games in 1972 in Sapporo. Behind Yukio Kasaya and Akitsugu Konno he completed jumps over 83.5 and 77.5 m in third place and bronze medal winner so the triple success of the Japanese hosts on the small hill.
