Sejřek

Sejrek ( German Seiersch, also Seyrek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 15 kilometers southeast of Bystřice nad Perštejnem and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Sejrek is located on a plateau on the right side above the confluence of the Nedvědička in the Svratka in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. To the north rises the Straz ( 585 m), lies beyond the Nedvědička valley, the castle Pernsteins. In the north and east of the railway line from Tišnov leads to Bystřice nad Perštejnem through the valleys of the Svratka and Nedvědička.

Neighboring towns are Pernsteins in the north, Nový Dvůr Mansberk and Nedvědice in the northeast, Černvír, Křížovice and Běleč in the east, Doubravník and MANOVA in the southeast, Rakove and Klokočí in the south, Olší ​​and Moravecké Pavlovice in the Southwest, boron in the west and Věžná in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Pernsteins Sejrek place in the year 1350. Sejrek was the seat of a judge, which also includes the villages Jámy, boron, Pernštejnské Jestřabí, Husle and Klokočí were under. In the 17th century also Střítež was assigned to the Sejřeker judge.

After the abolition of patrimonial Sejřky / Seyrek made ​​with the district 's Mountain in 1850 a municipality in the district of Brno. 1897 she came to the district Tišnov. 1947, the community was the Okres Bystřice assigned nad Perštejnem. 1961 boron was incorporated and the town came to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. 1976 lost Sejrek the autonomy and connected to Nedvědice.
