Selçuk İnan

Inan in the Turkish national team (2013 )

Selcuk Inan (born 10 February 1985 in İskenderun ) is a Turkish football player.

Club career

Selcuk Inan began his youth career with his hometown club Karaağaç Belediyespor. With 15 years Inan participated in a Auswahltrainig of Çanakkale Dardanelspor and was inducted into the youth academy because of its demonstrated performance. During his adolescence in Çanakkale Dardanelspor he played for the U16 and U17 Turkish. His teammates were among other Burak Yılmaz and Emre Güngör. At that time, Selçuk plays as ten in midfield.

After two and a half years in the second team of Dardanelspor came with Metin Tekin the first coach who brought Selçuk Inan in the first team. He made his debut at age 17 in the Turkish Cup against his future club Manisaspor. In addition to Inan, two other players made attention to itself: Gökhan Zan and Hasan Kabze. His role in the midfield changed when youth players are still behind the strikers, he was pulled in the first team in the defensive midfield.

In the 2005/06 season Inan playing his third season for Dardanelspor. He played with the team in the Second Turkish football league and graduated from good games, so he has now been appointed to the Turkish Under-21 team. During the winter break the same season was brought at the request of Ersun Yanal Selçuk Inan for an undisclosed fee and four players to Manisaspor. A few days later another talent to Manisaspor on loan, it was Arda Turan. Turan and Inan were up to the rest of the season roommates. Until the descent Manisaspors in the 2007/ 08 season Selçuk regulars was in central midfield. A season with Manisaspor in the second league was not possible for him. Why great interest among the three big clubs from Istanbul (Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray ) existed. Surprisingly, however, he changed not to Istanbul, but to Trabzonspor. His coach was there Ersun Yanal.

His first title was won by the midfielder in the season 2009/10. Under the direction of Şenol Güneş Inan was with Trabzonspor Turkish Cup winners. Prior to the 2010/11 season he won the Turkish Super Cup with Trabzonspor. The 2010/11 season played Selçuk Inan his best season so far. He played 33 of 34 games in the Süper Lig and without a substitution. He scored two goals gave 13 assists. Inan was with Trabzonspor this season runner-up behind Fenerbahce.

His contract expired on May 31, 2011 and he moved free transfer to the Turkish club Galatasaray Istanbul tradition and there wrote a five-year contract. He established himself in his first season in Istanbul for stem force and became a mainstay in the team. Inan scored in 39 league games 13 goals and made 17 assists.

National

Selcuk Inan has so far completed 32 caps for Turkey. He made his debut on 7 February 2007 in a friendly against Georgia. For the European Football Championship 2008, he was not considered.
