Rent4office Nuremberg, is the professional basketball team of the Nuremberg basketball clubs, curtly NBC. Responsible for the management of the team, the Nuremberg Basketball Club GmbH. History

The Franks sorcerers were founded in 2002 as a "joint project of several Central Franconian associations promoting youth basketball talent ." The newly formed club started it with a men's team in the lowest league ( circle class) as well as one male U16 and U18 team. The men's teams are provided explicitly for young players.

Already in the second season succeeded the male U16, fourth place at the German Championships, including with the players Sajmen Hauer and Bastian Doreth. Since then, the sorcerer regularly send players to the junior national teams. It followed in the coming seasons numerous climbs the men's team to the 2nd Regional. In the season 2006/2007 the club was also a member of the Green Gung junior basketball league ( NBBL ), 2009 in the JBBL.

Since 2007/2008 the witcher cooperated with DIMPLEX Falcon Nuremberg within the composite francs 1st, a junior integrated approach under the leadership of Brose Baskets. In the his -time Pro A team sorcerers seconded several double licensed players, including Stefan Schmidt and Bastian Doreth. The second division team ran under the name Franken Hexer. The team finished the season in the relegation zone, but due to the withdrawal of Telemotive Munich, the class could be maintained. However, since the financial commitment of Brose Baskets Bamberg for the Pro B team from Nuremberg was considered as insufficient was the Nuremberg professional basketball in the summer of 2009 in a corner. At the beginning of the season 2009/2010 co-founded the sorcerer Alex Krüger by Derrick Taylor was replaced as head coach of the first team.

The 2010/2011 season of the NBC wanted to use to rise again in the Pro A. But the club failed in the play- offs and was able to achieve any athletic advancement. End of June 2011, the club was finally able to but plan for the Pro A. Due to the withdrawal of the Dragons Rhöndorf from the Pro A Pro B in the NBC received a wild card and will start from the 2011/2012 season in the Pro A. The first season in the Pro A finished the NBC 12th place in the table with 11 wins and 17 defeats.

For the 2012/2013 season, the club's management not to renew the contract with Head Coach Derrick Taylor decided. His successor was the former player Martin Ides. In Ides, the team was able to stabilize after a weak start to the season and closed the Main Round 12/13 at No. 6 of the table. Thus, the NBC qualified for the subsequent Playoffs. There, however, the team retired in the first round against the Dusseldorf Baskets.

The season 2013/2014 was taken again with ambitions in attack. As a target at least the play offs were issued. However, the start was very changeable in the season. Once could be gained from the first nine games, only 4 coach Martin was subsequently relieved of his duties. As interim coach first took over Benjamin Travnizek.
