Selsdon

Selsdon is a district in the London Borough of Croydon.

The present structure Selsdons was created in the early 1920s, when large areas that formerly, among other things were used as hunting grounds, were divided into smaller land units. In the subsequent period up to the 1930s, the town developed rapidly. The street scene was thereby influenced primarily by the buildings in the Art Deco style. In the Croydon Selsdon High School, a partner school of the Bonn Clara -Schumann -Gymnasium is located.
