Şemsi Yaralı

Şemsi Yarali (born 20 July 1982) is a Turkish boxer. It was 2008 World Champion of amateur boxers in the heavyweight division.

Career

Şemsi Yarali began in 2000 with the boxes. She is member of the sports club TSE Kulübü Ankara and fights at heavyweight.

The first results, which are known from her date from the year 2005. This year she won the prestigious Ahmet Cömert tournament in Istanbul, which the best -studded tournament was in those years after the World Cup and European Championship in women's boxing, with a points victory over the Indian Jyotsana. You then also managed a win in the Torneo Italia in Cascia, where they U.S. citizen Jacynthe Maloney defeated on points in the heavyweight fight for victory. They started in 2005 at the World Championships in Podolsk and won there over Tameka Stephens from the United States by points ( 18:10 ) and was Jyotsana demolition winner in the first round. In the final battle she faced the experienced Hungarian Maria Kovacs, against which they lost in the 2nd round by demolition. It was thus equal to Vice World Champion but when attending her first international championship.

The year 2006 Şemsi Yarali began with a victory at Ahmet Cömert tournament. She suggested there Hosu Adriana from Romania and Paulina Szmidt from Poland respectively on points. In 2008 Şemsi Yarali went at five international championships and tournaments at the start and finished all five as the winner. In March 2008, she won the Intern. Tournament in Stupino / Russia with wins over Inna Shevchenko from Ukraine and Nadezhda Torlopowa from Russia. When Ahmet Cömert tournament, she defeated Sylwie Kusiak of Poland and Anna Glad trash from Russia and thus was the winner. The same result they achieved in August 2008 in the EU Championship in Liverpool. There they beat Adriana Hosu and Sylwia Kusiak. In September 2009, she was the Witch Cup in Pecs / Hungary for lack of opponents to a noncombat tournament victory and in November 2008 she was crowned this year so successful in Ningbo / China by winning the world title. They defeated Inna Shevchenko ( 10:0 ), Tiffany Hearn from the United States ( 7-5 ) and Adriana Hosu ( 7:2 ) respectively on points.

In 2009 she did not go so often to the start. However, they finished the Ahmet Cömert tournament with wins over Inna Shevchenko, Raluca Chris, Romania and Nadezhda Torlopowa the first place. At the European Championships in the Ukrainian Nikolayev she came to point victories over Inna Shevchenko ( 7:2 ) and Sylwia Kusiak ( 11:2 ), where they lost against Nadezhda Torlopowa by demolition in the 3rd round and had to be content with the Vice - European Champion title.

The International Championships 2010 Şemsi Yarali presented not in good shape. She lost clearly in the EU Championships in Keszthely / Hungary against Anna Slowik of Poland on points ( 1:8 ) and had at the World Cup in Bridgetown, Barbados suffered a disqualification defeat in the quarterfinals against Katerina Kuchtsel from Ukraine. At the European Championships 2011 in Rotterdam that was quite different, because they won there with point victories over Anna Slowik ( 16:4 ), Katerina Schambir, Ukraine ( 19:10) and Irina Sinezkaja, from Russia to the European title in the class over 81 kg of body weight.
