Senate of Liberia

The Senate of Liberia (English Senate of Liberia ) is the upper house of the Liberian Parliament. The lower house is formed by the House of Representatives.

In the Senate, each of the 15 counties of Liberia is equally represented by two members.

The last elections to the Senate were held on 11 October 2005. The elected members took up office in January 2006.
