Send Horst ( Low German Siänhuorst ) is a small town in the district of Warendorf in Munsterland, around 15 km south-east of Münster and about 20 km southwest of the county town of Warendorf located.

Geography

The city Sendenhorst consists of the districts sending Horst (formerly county Beckum ) and Albersloh (former county of Münster). The eponymous district Sendenhorst has since August 11, 1315 city rights. Albersloh, located on the Werse, has been incorporated into the city Sendenhorst in the course of municipal reform in 1975.
