Senqu is a municipality in Joe Gqabi District, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. Covering an area of 7330 km ² live 135 723 inhabitants ( 2001). The administrative center is Lady Grey. A portion of the community was on the territory of the Transkei until 1994.

Senqu is the Sesothoname the river Oranje on which the municipality is located.
