Seo Taiji

Seo Taiji ( born February 21, 1972 Real Name: Jung Hyun - chul, Hangeul: 정현철, Hanja :郑 铉 哲) is a South Korean musician.

When he started with 17 years at the South Korean Metal band Sinawe as a bassist, he slept with the pseudonym Seo Taiji. After Sinawe was dissolved in 1991, he formed his own band Seo Taiji and Boys and became one of the most successful Korean pop music singer of the 1990s. With his band he brought elements such as rap and heavy metal music with which shortly afterwards were an integral part of the music scene. The band released five studio albums and became the most successful band in South Korea. After spending several years in the United States Seo Taiji is now slightly less successful solo artist who released his fourth studio album Atomos 2009. In 2004, he played concerts with the American band Korn.
