Serdar Dayat

Serdar Dayat (* May 30, 1969 in Istanbul) is a Turkish football coach.

Coaching career

Dayat obtained his license as a football coach in the Hennes Weisweiler Academy in Cologne.

His first coaching position was at Dayat Kasımpaşa SK, where he worked as an assistant coach in the 2007/ 08 season. The club finished second in the final table last place, so that one relegation to the second division.

In the 2009 /10 and 2010/11 season, he was active in Gençlerbirliği Ankara on the side of Fuat Çapa, Thomas Doll and Ralf Zumdick each as an assistant coach.

Even with Samsunspor Dayat was in season 2011/12 Assistant coach Vladimir Petkovic and Mesut Bakkal. At the end of the season Samsunspor missed the league.

For the 2012/13 season Dayat became head coach for the first time. He moved into first Bulgarian League for Neuaufsteiger FK Etar Veliko Tarnovo and should keep the club from relegation. Dayat was with the team but last and could not prevent the transition to the second division. Thereupon, coaches and club agreed on the contract.

For the 2013/14 season he was introduced at second division Denizlispor as successor to the sacked Özcan Bizati. Again, he could not achieve any success and was released after the 6th Round on 23 September 2013.
