The Serebryanka, also Serebrjanaja (Russian Серебрянка / Серебряная, literally the Silver ) is a 147 km long right tributary of the Chusovaya in the European and Asian parts of Russia.

River

The Serebryanka rises on the border between the Perm region and the Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast in the middle. First, it flows in a southerly direction along that boundary to the densely wooded, sparsely populated mountains in the far west of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. After the confluence of the Klyktan it bends from the southwest.

The river flows through Serebryanka, the only major city along the river. After the confluence of its largest tributary Schurysch the Serebryanka crossed the border to the Perm region, where it joins after a few kilometers in Ust- Serebryanka in the Chusovaya.

Hydrology and use

The mainly fed by snowmelt and rain Serebryanka is not navigable. However, the average 10-15 m wide river is also popular as a demanding mountain river in canoe athletes in the ice-free season from April to November.
