Serge Doubrovsky
Serge Doubrovsky ( b. 1928 ) is a French writer and literary critic. He taught literature at the University of New York. His work consists of essays and autobiographical writings, he coined the term "Auto fiction" (French: ego - fiction ). In 1989 he received the Prix Médicis for his novel Le Livre brisé. S. Doubrovsky has also created the " Nouvelle autobiography ," together with the " Nouveau Roman " (see Alain Robbe -Grillet ) represented a new genre of prose.
