Sergei Krivokrasov

Sergei Vladimirovich Kriwokrassow (Russian: Сергей Владимирович Кривокрасов; born April 15, 1974 in Angarsk, Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player and current coach.

Career

During his Soviet times he played at HK CSKA Moscow. NHL Entry Draft 1992, he was selected in the first round in twelfth position by the Chicago Blackhawks. In 1992 he moved to the Hawks in the National Hockey League. Further stations of his career in the NHL were Nashville Predators, Calgary Flames, Minnesota Wild and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. In 2002 he went back to Russia and has performed since then in the Russian league. Last season 2006/ 07 he spent with Metallurg Novokuznetsk.

Already on In 1992 he was named after the collapse of the Soviet Union first member of the United team and then the Russian national ice hockey team. His international career was crowned with the silver medal in 1998. In 1998, he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame".

In March 2010 he was appointed head coach of the Russian second division Yermak Angarsk.
