Sergei Saltykov

Sergei Vasilievich Saltykov (Russian: Сергей Васильевич Салтыков, scientific transliteration Sergei Saltykov Vasil'evič; * 1726, † 1765 ) was one of the lovers of the later Empress Catherine II of Russia and probably the father of Tsar Paul I

The Grand Duchess Catherine, married to the heir to the throne Peter Fedorovich, got involved in an affair with the handsome Count Sergei Saltykov chamberlain.
