Sergej Litvinov

Sergej Litvinov (Russian: Сергей Сергеевич Литвинов / Sergei Sergeyevich Litvinov, born January 27, 1986 in Rostov-on- Don ) is a hammer thrower. He competed for Belarus, 2008-2010 for Germany, and since then for Russia.

Sergej Litvinov is the son of Olympic gold medalist and former world champion Sergei Litvinov, was born in the Soviet Union. At a size of 1.85 m his competition weight is about 92 kg. Before the hammer throw, he was 15 years old German Under-17 champion in judo. Because there was no training partner for him and he should not fight against adults, he gave up the sport of judo.
